Books in the DinoSprout Educational Series have optional downloads, which allow you to print a selection of accompanying materials and instructions for leading learning activities to benefit all children. The activities are categorized by large group, small group, and one-to-one formats for teachers to meet the needs of their classrooms. Many times, a large group format may be overwhelming for some children, so a small group or one-to-one format may be a better option. Additionally, teachers have the flexibility to modify and/or adapt each activity to use with any group of their choosing. Regardless of the teaching format, all children can participate in the DinoSprout book series.

“When Susan Mills visited my Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders, they immediately connected with her as well as the social emotional themes of her books. They had experienced the same worries and fears and joys that they saw in her DinoSprout series. Susan is such a joyful speaker. The children felt welcome and cared for with Susan because she included them in her presentation. You could tell that she genuinely wanted to hear about the connections the kids had made with her stories. She helped them to see that books can help you make sense of what is happening around you. Susan showed such enthusiasm to be in our school. She even let our school news team interview her. I highly recommend an author visit with Susan Mills. Your students will adore her.” – L.
